The Scam Artists of Torrent Networks
28.01.2008. 13:49
Fake torrents, fake files, fake downloads and a whole lot more. Yup, that is what is bringing down our torrent network. These fake scammers that would like to make a fast buck without even supporting a bit. I hate scams, and I loath downloading a file ( 700+ MB ) and finding out that their is a password or codec that has to be installed in order to view it.For all of those reading this, dont even try to get the codec or password... just delete the file as it might contain a trojan or even worse. These people are the scum of the world. Praying on people to download their useless files and burdening the network with useless downloads. I guess the war is on! You want a war, come and get some you sons of bitches!
As of today, Mininova will begin a beta version of this site to help combat these scammers and support our users from having to suffer these corrupt downloads. I have a friend that informed me that 3 out of 5 downloads were bogus. That is just out right malicious and extraneous!
If you find a torrent that is a fake... write a comment on it as it will help other users not to strain the network.1

when are you guys bringing the network back up i need windows xp home edition with no servers pack on it and you guys are the only one that have it
Spynova sucks! People trying to profit from free stuff should be "x" out and placed on the ban and spam list. Who do you think is uploading this crap on the net? Some people think its the companies / corporations behind this move. Others, like me, think these are the lonely and lazy webmasters that cant make it being legit, so they try to scam web users from legit sites to their illegitimate fate ( pay for something that is free ).
Anyways, I agree with you C Snider, Rambo R5 by Intimid is a fake and for that reason alone I am deleting it from the index. Thanks and keep on trucking!
Rambo R5 by Intimid is a fake, you are directed to go to spynova to get a password. Joining spynova will cost you $35.00 a year. These are people trying to make money off something that was designed to be an information exchange for everyone, not just those who are trying to make a quick buck. I put these people in the same category as pimps and drug dealers; the scum of the earth.
